Hi fellow Tea Totalers!! Thanks so much for joining me and I hope you're having a good day!
I honestly cannot believe it's November and we're only two months away from another year! Time is just flying by.
I did really well in October and committed to my walking program. In the past, walking has helped me to keep physically, as well as mentally fit. It feels good. Trouble is, I'm a little on the chubby side because I have an incredible sweet tooth, as does my husband. He doesn't have to worry about gaining weight, but I sure do. This month, I'm going to commit to walking as well as cutting way down on my sugar intake. Sadly, we don't do much in the winter evenings and this seems to be when I get the worst sugar cravings. My goal is to fight back on this and come out the winner!!
I've been pondering on how lonely I was when I was drinking. For years, I would take solo holidays that centered around drinking. I traveled to England (great beer), sunny southern California and some local places. Truly, a lonely girl, on her own. One of them resulted in me having a terrible case of bed bug bites. Nasty little things!!!
My family often accused me of being very angry. I couldn't understand this. Now that I'm in recovery, I feel the most peaceful I've ever been. It surprises me and feels great.
Thanks for reading and I'll be back in a few days! Stay safe everyone!
